2023-2024 sports physicals are due August 7th, forms can be picked in the high school front office.

It was great meeting the wonderful people of Loup City, NE! If I missed catching at your house, I'm sorry. I would love to talk with you and your 6th-12th Grade student anytime between now and the start of the school year! Also, the QR code for the parent survey should be working.

Good luck to the ALC Rebels at the Nebraska State Track and Field Championships at Burke Stadium in Omaha this Friday and Saturday! Go Rebels!

Thank you to the Red Raider PTO for providing the K-6 students and staff with a Tropical Snow Cone during Red and Black Day. Also, thank you to Citizens Bank for the cooler of juice for the students.


Have have moved the last day of school to Thursday, May 18. There will be no school on Friday, May 19. It will be a full day with dismissal at 3:38pm. Please enjoy this head start into summer with your kids!

Loup City Elementary "Red and Black" Day will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at the LCPS Football Field. Kindergarten through 3rd grade will be 9:30am to 11:00am. 4th grade through 6th grade will be at the field from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

The South Loup JH Track Meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 25th at Arnold will now be Monday, April 24th beginning at 10:00AM.
Kindergarten Recognition is set for Thursday, May 18 at 6:30pm! This will wrap up the school year for our graduating class of 2035! They will not attend school on Friday, May 19th.

Loup City Public School received a grant for a new oven for the kitchen! Thanks to Bonnie Sekutera for being instrumental in writing the grant. This oven replaces the 30 year old one.

With nice weather comes...tractors!! The FFA members finally had a great day for their downtown tractor parade. Joining them this year were our state speech qualifiers, Chloe Carkoski and Landri Loos. Good luck at state today ladies! Great job everyone!










Freshman and Junior math students celebrated Pi Day (3.14) with 4th and 5th graders. Each group participated in a Pi Paper Chain challenge, then put their math skills to work with various Pi Day Activities.


On Thursday, 8-12 LCPS students participated in the 2nd annual LCPS College and Career Fair. There were 20 businesses, 4 colleges, and 2 military recruiters in attendance.
