South Loup vs. ALC Basketball Update

Due to recent developments, there will be no JVBoys game at South Loup on Tuesday. The new schedule will be as follows:
4:30 - JVGirls (4 Quarters)
6:00 - Varsity Girls
7:30 - Varsity Boys
There will be a limit of 4 guests per player. A pass list with the guest's names will be at the South Loup gate.
At Monday's Board meeting the 2021-22 School Calendar was approved, it has been emailed to all parents and can be found on our school website.
On Monday night the board voted to allow organized youth sport practices in the gyms at Loup City Public Schools. We have submitted some youth sports protocols to all school parents today.
Rebel fans, the JV girls game for tonight has been cancelled. The JV boys game will start at 4:30pm with varsity girls to follow. Thank you. Go Rebels!

Rebel fans, here is some updated information for the basketball games here in Loup City tomorrow night.
All tickets: $5:00 Adults/$5:00 Students (50% Capacity: First 420 fans will be allowed into the facilities)
Only FAMILY members of Junior Varsity players will be allowed in our South Gym due to limited space. Visitor fan entrance will be the Northwest doors. Home fans entrance will be the Northeast doors. We will not have the front doors to the school open for entrance.

Due to the impending winter weather, the holiday tournament games in Shelby scheduled for Tuesday, December 29th have been moved to Wednesday, December 30th. Times are TBA.
Loup City Students in Grades 4, 5, and 6 donated these items for a care package being sent to our military personnel in Saudi Arabia. Thank You to those students and teachers!
In the last year Loup City has been contacted and has been a subject of a news story about our choice of logos. Loup City Public Schools is known as the Red Raiders and has historically, although not recently, used a Native-American caricature as the mascot logo. The board of education has discussed the use of the cartoon-like Native American caricature during an open session and is asking the public to share their input with them. They ask that you please use the link below to answer a few questions that will be helpful to the board of education in making a decision.

The PTO would like to thank all who participated in the cookie dough fundraiser this year. The cookie dough will be here on December 16th and ready for your pickup! We have divided the families up to make our pickup a little easier, if the time below doesn’t work for you please email Heidi Krolikowski heidi.krolikowski@lcpublic.org or Dusti VanSlyke dusti.vanslyke@lcpublic.org and let them know what time works better for you and your family to pick up. We will assist you with your order to your vehicle if needed but we ask you to remain outside entrance #1 while we bring you your order.
