Loup City secondary school (7-12) has experienced a Covid-19 spike within the past week. In response, our "Return to School Plan" mitigation strategies are being implemented for all 7-12 students.
All 7-12 students, faculty and staff will wear masks through Friday, September 3. The necessity of masks will be reevaluated at that time.
We have contacted parents of students who have been in close contact with individuals testing positive for Covid-19 and asked them to isolate at home through Monday, August 30.
We ask that all students who are not feeling well to stay at home until they are symptom free and have no temperature.
Other mitigation strategies are also in place including emphasis on cleaning, handwashing, respiratory etiquette and physical distancing.
