Principal’s Message to Parents & Guardians

Dear Parents and Guardians,
It has been another exciting week at Loup City Elementary School! As we continue our school year with the theme “Find Your Joy,” we are reminded that joy can be found in many places — in celebrating one another, participating in school activities, and taking pride in being part of our school community. At the same time, we continue to live out our district motto of “Empowering Continual Success” by encouraging our students to grow, participate, and celebrate their accomplishments along the way.
Picture Day was a great success this past Wednesday! It was wonderful to see so many of our students dressed in their nicest clothes and ready to capture a special moment in their elementary school journey.
There is joy in these simple moments — seeing our students smile, show their personalities, and take pride in themselves. Picture Day also reminds us that every student is growing and creating memories that will be part of their school story for years to come. Thank you to our parents and guardians for helping our students look and feel their best!
As we “Find Your Joy,” we encourage our students to take pride in who they are today while continuing to grow toward who they can become. Every positive experience, accomplishment, and new challenge is another step toward “Empowering Continual Success.”
It is very exciting to see our Fall Sports programs in full competition! Our student-athletes have been working hard, representing our school with enthusiasm, teamwork, determination, and school pride.
Elementary students are naturally drawn to the excitement and success that student activities bring to our school. They watch our older students compete, support one another, overcome challenges, and celebrate accomplishments. These experiences provide our younger students with wonderful examples of perseverance, teamwork, and what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.
We encourage our elementary families to support our student-athletes whenever possible. Cheering from the stands, celebrating a teammate's success, and watching our students work toward a common goal are all opportunities to “Find Your Joy” as a school community.
Our activities provide more than competition — they provide opportunities for students to discover interests, build confidence, develop character, and experience success. These are important pieces of our commitment to “Empowering Continual Success” for every student.
