Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we continue Finding the Groove in our learning journey and Empowering Continual Success for every student, we want to share an important update regarding our summer school programming.
This year, our approach to summer learning will look different than it has in the past. Rather than offering broad programming to all students, we are intentionally focusing our efforts on targeted academic growth. Our elementary staff is identifying students with the highest level of academic need and prioritizing them for summer school placement. This allows us to provide more individualized instruction and support—helping each student strengthen key skills and build confidence as they move forward.
Once we have finalized placements for these students, we will then consider additional groups of students whose parents or guardians have expressed interest in summer programming. Our goal is to expand opportunities where possible, while still maintaining a focused, effective approach that meets student needs.
We understand this is a shift from previous years, but it reflects our commitment to helping every student find their rhythm and continue progressing with purpose. By aligning our resources in this way, we are working to ensure meaningful growth and long-term success for all learners.
