Principal’s Message to Parents & Guardians

Dear LCES Families,
As we move into a joyful and busy week on campus, we continue Finding the Groove together—supporting one another, staying in rhythm as a community, and ensuring that every student is Empowered for Continual Success. Please review the important updates below.
Our school-wide movie field trip is this Wednesday, December 17th. Students will depart LCES promptly at 8:30 AM. To keep our plans running smoothly and ensure every class stays “in the groove,” students who are not at school by 8:30 AM will not be able to attend the field trip. Thank you for helping your child arrive on time so they can enjoy this special event with their classmates.
Thursday, December 18th, is a full day of school. Please keep an eye out for notices from your child’s teacher regarding classroom celebrations and other seasonal activities happening throughout the day.
At LCES, we know that when families and staff find their groove together, our students shine even brighter. We encourage parent and guardian involvement in these events as much as you are able; our doors are always open, and your presence helps empower our students’ continual success.
Our annual Christmas Program will take place on Thursday, December 18th, at 6:30 PM. To keep the evening running smoothly, please ensure students arrive no later than 6:15 PM. Students should also dress appropriately for this festive event.
As we celebrate together, we look forward to a night filled with joy, community, and moments that highlight how our students continue Finding the Groove academically, socially, and artistically.
